RSS Post Plugin

I installed a plugin allowing RSS feeds to be displayed on a page in any div.

I selected the CMS Wire rss feed. It is a daily feed providing news for web developers on changes in standards in CMS, graphics, code, and other aspects. It seemed appropriate for this site.

The plugin WP-RSSImport seems to work well.

Word Press Site Up and Running

Well, prior to two days ago I had only very limited experience using Word Press. I decided it was time I sat down and sank my teeth into it and this site is the result. Word Press, is similar to Joomla which I have a good deal of experience using, so it wasn’t a great big leap designing a site using it. I have tried to use the latest in CSS tools where available. The drop-shadow standard was unavailable in Internet Explorer so for the header I used a PNG image. I plan to expand this site to use ajax to load new pages instead of reloading the actual page for navigation.
