I have had a love for 3D for as long as I knew it existed.

From Tron to The Last Starfighter I wanted to make 3D. Then in the early nineties I received a “fast” computer and bought a $100 program originally designed to make simple banners in 3D. But I took it to its limit ( and I was hooked ) The program took a day or two to render anything worth looking at ( and 4 out of 10 times it would crash ) But I loved it! Finally I found a free program Anim8or. There are better programs that are open source such as Blender. But for me Anim8or today provides everything I need. A simple interface for free that allows me to easily produce 3DĀ modelsĀ for game design or simple logos and banners. Of course I would still like to learn Blender ( if I had the time ). Or go to school to learn 3D Studio Max or Maya. Maybe next semester.
