Much of these graphics were designed in Adobe Flash. I didn’t know about vector tools like Adobe Illustrator even existed until college. And truthfully I still prefer the Flash environment. Illustrator is just too much. Its like Photoshop… I actually prefer using JASC PaintShop for simple editing. Although for a professional, knowledge of the standard tools Adobe has to offer are an absolute must. Its like knowing Microsoft Word or Excel. You may prefer the Open Source versions. But on the resume hiring managers look for the name brands. And you had better have a working knowledge of how to use them in the interview.
